About StaySathi

StaySathi is a digital discovery and listing platform designed to help users discover and connect with property owners, accommodation providers, local service providers, businesses and other eligible providers using the Platform.

Depending on availability, StaySathi may provide features relating to rental properties, PGs, hostels, flats, houses, villas, homestays, guest houses, farm houses, local services and other categories introduced from time to time.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, StaySathi acts as an intermediary, listing and discovery platform and is not the owner, landlord, tenant, broker, employer, agent, contractor or direct provider of properties or third-party services listed on the Platform.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create an account, publish listings, purchase paid services or otherwise use features requiring contractual capacity.

By using StaySathi, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that your use of the Platform complies with applicable law.

StaySathi may restrict certain features based on age, location, verification status, applicable regulations or other legitimate requirements.

User Accounts and Registration

Certain features may require you to create an account using an email address, mobile number or another supported authentication method.

You are responsible for:

• providing accurate and current account information;
• maintaining the security of your login credentials;
• activities carried out through your account; and
• reporting suspected unauthorized access promptly.

You must not impersonate another person, create fraudulent accounts or use another person's information without authorization.

StaySathi may introduce mobile, email, identity, business or other verification methods.

Property Listings

Property owners or authorized persons publishing listings are responsible for ensuring that listing information is accurate, lawful and not misleading.

This may include information relating to:

• rent or pricing;
• location;
• property type;
• availability;
• amenities;
• photographs;
• furnishing and occupancy conditions; and
• other listing information.

Listing providers must have the necessary authority and rights to publish the property and related content.

StaySathi may review, approve, reject, restrict or remove listings that violate platform rules, law or quality requirements.

Listing approval does not mean that StaySathi has independently verified ownership, title, physical condition or every representation contained in the listing.

Service Listings and Service Providers

StaySathi may allow professionals, businesses and other eligible providers to publish service listings.

Service providers are responsible for their qualifications, permissions, licences, pricing, availability, representations and performance.

Users should independently evaluate a service provider before engaging them.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, StaySathi does not employ independent service providers and is not responsible for the manner in which their independent services are performed.

User Verification and Due Diligence

Users should independently verify relevant information before entering into any arrangement with an owner, provider or other third party.

Property users should consider verifying ownership or authority, location, property condition, pricing, deposits, documentation and contractual terms.

Users of services should consider credentials, pricing, scope of work and other relevant information.

The appearance of a listing on StaySathi should not be interpreted as a guarantee or recommendation by StaySathi.

Direct Communication and Transactions

StaySathi may provide tools allowing users to contact owners or service providers through telephone, WhatsApp, email, in-app functionality or other communication methods.

Unless StaySathi expressly states otherwise, negotiations, agreements, payments and transactions entered into directly between users and third parties occur independently of StaySathi.

Users should exercise appropriate caution before sharing information, making advance payments or entering into agreements.

StaySathi is not responsible for unauthorized or fraudulent transactions conducted outside payment systems officially provided by StaySathi.

Paid Features, Boost Plans and Promotions

StaySathi may offer paid features including listing boosts, featured placement, premium visibility, subscriptions, promotional tools or other paid services.

Pricing, duration, benefits and applicable conditions will be displayed before purchase.

StaySathi may modify future plan structures, pricing or benefits subject to applicable law and the conditions governing completed purchases.

Payments and Payment Processors

Payments for eligible StaySathi services may be processed through authorized third-party payment gateways or financial service providers.

Users may also be subject to the payment provider's terms, privacy practices and processing requirements.

StaySathi does not normally store complete card, UPI, banking or similar sensitive payment credentials where such credentials are processed directly by the payment provider.

Payment availability may depend on banking, technical, regulatory and third-party service conditions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, payments made directly between users and property owners or service providers are separate from payments made to StaySathi for Platform features.

Refunds, Cancellations and Failed Payments

Refunds or cancellations for eligible StaySathi paid features will be governed by applicable purchase conditions, policies and law.

A failed, pending or interrupted transaction does not automatically mean that payment has been successfully received by StaySathi.

Where an amount is debited but the corresponding service is not activated, users should contact StaySathi support with relevant transaction details.

Refund processing time may depend on the payment processor, bank or payment method.

User-Generated Content

Users may submit photographs, descriptions, listing details, profile information, business information, messages and other content (“User Content”).

Users retain ownership of content they lawfully own.

By submitting User Content, you grant StaySathi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, format, distribute and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, promote and provide the Platform and your listing.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions required to submit such content.

StaySathi may remove unlawful, misleading, infringing, inappropriate or fraudulent content.

Platform Moderation and Listing Approval

StaySathi may use manual or automated processes to review accounts, listings, content and Platform activity.

StaySathi may:

• approve or reject listings;
• request additional information;
• limit listing visibility;
• remove misleading or duplicate content;
• investigate suspicious activity;
• suspend features; or
• remove content where reasonably necessary.

Moderation does not create an obligation for StaySathi to identify every inaccurate, unlawful or fraudulent listing.

Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• publish fake, fraudulent or misleading listings;
• impersonate another person or business;
• upload content without permission;
• post unlawful, abusive or harmful material;
• use StaySathi for unlawful purposes;
• send spam or fake enquiries;
• manipulate analytics, views, clicks, saves or leads;
• scrape or systematically extract Platform data without authorization;
• attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts;
• distribute malware or malicious code;
• interfere with Platform operation or security;
• misuse contact details obtained through StaySathi;
• circumvent payment, verification or security systems;
• infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; or
• use the Platform in a manner that may harm StaySathi or others.

Fraud and Safety

StaySathi may investigate suspected fraud, abuse, payment manipulation, identity misuse, fake listings and other suspicious activity.

Where reasonably necessary, StaySathi may restrict accounts, listings, payments or Platform access while an investigation is conducted.

Users should report suspicious listings or activities through available support channels.

Intellectual Property

Except for User Content and third-party material, the StaySathi name, logo, branding, software, interface, design, graphics, database structure and original Platform content are owned by or licensed to StaySathi.

StaySathi intellectual property may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, sold, reverse engineered or commercially exploited without authorization except where permitted by law.

Third-Party Services and Links

StaySathi may integrate with payment processors, maps, communication services, authentication systems, analytics providers, cloud services, social platforms and other third-party services.

Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

StaySathi is not responsible for the independent operation, availability or practices of third-party services except where required by applicable law.

Future Features and Services

StaySathi may expand its Platform over time.

Future functionality may include additional property or service categories, partner or business programs, advertising and promotional services, affiliate or commerce-related functionality, employment or hiring features, travel or utility integrations, communication tools, marketplace functionality, subscriptions or other digital services.

New or materially different services may be governed by additional terms, eligibility requirements, fees, policies or consent mechanisms.

Platform Availability and Changes

StaySathi aims to maintain reliable access but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Features may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, security requirements, technical problems, network failures or third-party dependencies.

StaySathi may add, modify, discontinue or improve features where reasonably necessary and subject to applicable law.

Account Suspension and Termination

StaySathi may restrict, suspend or terminate accounts or listings for reasons including:

• violation of these Terms;
• fraudulent or suspicious activity;
• unlawful conduct;
• Platform misuse;
• security risks;
• repeated complaints;
• intellectual-property violations; or
• legal or regulatory requirements.

Users may stop using StaySathi at any time and may request account deletion through mechanisms described on the Platform or in the Privacy Policy.

Privacy and Data Protection

Collection and processing of personal information through StaySathi is governed by the StaySathi Privacy Policy.

StaySathi may use service providers and technical partners where necessary for hosting, authentication, payments, communications, analytics, security, notifications and related Platform operations.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.

StaySathi does not guarantee:

• the accuracy of every user-provided listing;
• ownership or legal status of every property;
• quality or suitability of every service provider;
• continuous availability of listings or services;
• successful enquiries or transactions; or
• error-free or uninterrupted Platform operation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StaySathi will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising solely from dealings between independent users, owners, service providers or other third parties.

StaySathi is generally not a party to independent rental, lease, property or service agreements entered into between users.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by law.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold StaySathi harmless against claims, losses, liabilities or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights or content submitted by you.

This provision does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Force Majeure

StaySathi will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances reasonably beyond its control, including natural disasters, internet or telecommunications failures, government actions, widespread infrastructure failures, cyber incidents, strikes or failures of essential third-party services, subject to applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

StaySathi may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Platform, business practices, technology, legal requirements or services.

Updated Terms will be published with a revised Last Updated date.

Where legally required or where changes materially affect users' rights, StaySathi may provide additional notice or request renewed consent.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Users and StaySathi should first attempt to resolve concerns through available support channels.

Subject to applicable consumer protection laws and any jurisdiction that cannot legally be excluded, disputes will be subject to competent courts having jurisdiction under applicable Indian law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

No Waiver

Failure by StaySathi to enforce any provision of these Terms on one occasion does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce that provision later.
